The two organizations are hosting a candy drop this year. If you would like to support the village residents, please drop off your bags of candy to the Lanpher Library starting on Tuesday, October 22nd. All donations of candy will need to be at the library by closing time on Wednesday, October 30th. See the website for library hours: www.lanpherlibrary.org. You may also drop bags through the book drop when the library is closed. If you are a village resident and would like to receive donations of candy, please contact Heather at [email protected]. that skims the top of freshest milk, like feathered skies of warming sunsets as blue shades into lightest pink, I want the feel of summer cream as smooth sweet drips slide down my fingers-- silk never felt so soft. I want the taste of summer cream that as it slips between your lips it brings to mind the pale sweet clover and luscious warmth of emerald fields, I see and feel and taste again sweet summer cream in cool glass jars as summer softly fades to fall. ![]() September 22,- 28th is Banned Books Week.
